Air Transport Services Group, Inc. (ATSG) has appointed Matthew Scagnelli as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), strengthening the company’s executive leadership team as it advances its long-term growth strategy.
In his new role, Scagnelli will oversee ATSG’s global Human Resources strategy across its portfolio of aviation and logistics businesses, focusing on talent development, organisational growth and strengthening the company’s workforce capabilities.
Scagnelli brings more than 25 years of senior Human Resources experience spanning aerospace, aviation, manufacturing and consumer industries. He joins ATSG from Leaf Home, where he most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer.
Prior to that, he held the role of CHRO at MB Aerospace and spent 17 years with General Electric in a variety of HR leadership positions. During his time at GE Aviation Services (now GE Aerospace), Scagnelli served as Executive HR Leader, supporting HR operations across multiple global locations.
Throughout his career, Scagnelli has led major organisational transformation initiatives, developed talent strategies aligned with business growth objectives, and implemented leadership development, succession planning and performance management programmes.
