Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has signed a full-building lease for a 66,552 sq ft warehouse at The Cubes at ORD, a new logistics facility located just southeast of Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

The deal brings the development, owned by national real estate firm CRG, to full occupancy. The site offers direct access to Interstate 294 and is less than a mile from O’Hare’s South Cargo Area, making it a prime location in one of Chicago’s most supply-constrained logistics markets.

The modern facility includes 20 dock doors, trailer storage, LED lighting and ESFR sprinkler systems, designed to meet growing demand for air cargo handling and distribution space.

Susan Bergdoll, senior vice president and partner for CRG’s Midwest Region, said: “We knew The Cubes at ORD was a strategic infill development given its proximity to O’Hare, and reaching full occupancy is a testament to the strong demand for well-located, modern logistics facilities.”

The facility was designed by Lamar Johnson Collaborative, with Clayco acting as general contractor. WFS was represented in the lease by CBRE, while CRG was advised by Avison Young.

The lease underlines WFS’s continued expansion in North America as demand for efficient air cargo infrastructure remains strong.
