Spanish charter airline Wamos Air has renewed its long-term partnership with ULD management specialist Jettainer.

The extended contract secures the continued provision of modern cargo containers, ensuring reliable and efficient support for the airline’s operations.

At its core is a dedicated fleet tailored to Wamos Air’s requirements, dynamically adjusted to operational needs and managed via Jettainer’s intelligent IT platform JettwareNG.

Founded in 2003 and based at Madrid Barajas International Airport, the airline has been part of the Abra Group since October 2024, the second-largest aviation group in Latin America.

Since the beginning of the collaboration with Jettainer in 2018, Wamos Air has continuously adapted its business model to changing market conditions.

The former network carrier now successfully focuses on short- and long-term charter operations as well as ACMI services for passenger and cargo flights on behalf of other airlines, operating a fleet of Airbus A330 aircraft.

Salvador Martínez, VP Operations – Wamos Air, says: “Jettainer has been a strong partner from day one, a company we can consistently rely on. Their operational excellence aligns perfectly with our high-quality standards.

“Thanks to Jettainer, we benefit from a comprehensive ULD supply and the flexibility to support our wet lease operations with additional ULD capacity whenever required.”

Dr. Jan-Wilhelm Breithaupt, CEO of Jettainer, says: “Wamos Air is Spain’s leading charter airline, consistently tailoring its services to the needs of its customers and placing the highest value on service quality.

“We look forward to supporting the airline with our full range of ULD services in the years to come”.
