US freighter lessor Air Transport Services Group (ATSG) has handed over a second Airbus A330 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) aircraft to Türkiye-based ULS Airlines Cargo, strengthening the carrier’s long-haul and high-volume operations.

The conversion was completed by Turkish Technic in Istanbul in partnership with Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW), the Airbus and ST Engineering joint venture that holds the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the A330P2F programme.

The delivery follows ULS’s first A330P2F from ATSG in May, which was converted at EFW’s Dresden site.

The widebody A330-300P2F offers a gross payload capacity of around 62 tonnes and more than 526 cubic metres of cargo volume.

“ATSG’s A330P2F programme continues to deliver modern, fuel-efficient freighter capacity to meet the growing demands of global air cargo,” said Todd France, chief commercial officer of ATSG, acquired by Stonepeak in April. “The delivery of this second aircraft to ULS reflects our shared commitment to fleet modernisation, operational reliability, and long-term partnership.”

ULS Airlines Cargo operates across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, providing scheduled and charter cargo services. The new addition bolsters its ability to meet demand while improving efficiency and reliability, said Yasin Ata, managing director of ULS Airlines Cargo.
