Talma Peru renews dangerous goods certificates

Share

Talma Peru has once again received the CBTA Provider and CBTA Corporate certifications, issued by IATA in compliance with the training provisions of the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR).

The CBTA Provider certification recognises Talma Training School (TTS), of Talma Peru, as the only school in the country authorised by IATA to offer specialised courses to companies in the airport sector on the air transport of dangerous goods, under the Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) approach.

For its part, the CBTA Corporate certification accredits Talma Peru’s internal training programme for its employees in the handling of dangerous goods, which is also aligned with the CBTA model and in compliance with the technical and safety standards established by IATA.

Arturo Cassinelli, Talma’s corporate general manager, said: “We are extremely proud to receive these recertifications, which reaffirm the quality and excellence of the services we provide as the country’s leading airport operator.

“Our commitment to safe and efficient operations includes the ongoing training of our teams.”

This achievement reflects Talma’s sustained commitment to the continuous development of its team’s skills and to strengthening the performance of the airline industry through the implementation of high-quality dangerous goods training programs aligned with the CBTA model and the highest industry standards.

Talma Perú also holds several international certifications issued by IATA that endorse its world-class standards.

These include: Smart Facility, which validates compliance with the conditions required for the handling of general cargo, dangerous goods, live animals, perishable products, pharmaceutical cargo, and postal mail; CEIV Lithium Batteries, which recognises the safe handling of lithium battery transportation; CEIV Fresh, focused on perishable products; CEIV Pharma, which guarantees the handling of time and temperature-sensitive products, such as medicines and vaccines; and the ISAGO Station and ISAGO Provider certifications, which promote standardisation and compliance with operational procedures and safety management globally.
