Saudia Cargo reported a 13% year-on-year increase in air cargo volumes in 2024, reaching 577,870 tons, fueled by rising e-commerce demand, local exports, and more flights. The airline also saw a 6% increase in flight numbers, totaling 193,599.

E-commerce volumes surged 23% to 64,107 tons, and high-value shipments contributed 54% of total revenues. Exports from Saudi Arabia saw a 14% boost, with 13,740 tons of locally produced goods transported.

Partnerships with companies like Red Sea Global and the Royal Commission for AlUla helped enhance exports, connecting Saudi Arabia to over 800 global destinations and facilitating artifact transportation to support tourism.

Saudia Cargo has also invested in digital services, launching an e-portal and enhancing customer communications. It introduced permanent routes to Shenzhen and seasonal routes to Athens and Nice.

Looking ahead, the airline is expanding its fleet with next-generation aircraft, including Airbus A321 and Boeing 787, while focusing on sustainable transportation and AI-driven digital infrastructure. The company plans to improve automated cargo handling, reduce costs, and enhance eco-friendly logistics, all while maintaining a 92% on-time performance.

Loay Mashabi, CEO of Saudia Cargo, emphasized the company’s commitment to innovation and growth, with a goal of ranking among the world’s top 10 air cargo carriers by 2030.
