Saudi Arabia’s new airline, Riyadh Air, has appointed FlyUs Aviation Group (FlyUs) as its General Sales Agent (GSA) in the United Kingdom and Ireland, effective October 26, 2025.

Under the new agreement, FlyUs will manage sales, customer support, and capacity management for Riyadh Air’s cargo operations across both markets. The announcement comes as the airline prepares to launch its first scheduled flights to London Heathrow Airport (LHR), operated daily by its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

Carlo de Haas, President and Chief Executive Officer of FlyUs, said the appointment marks a significant milestone for both companies.

“It’s rare to see a new airline begin daily widebody operations into Heathrow, so being part of this from the very first flight is a real privilege,” said de Haas. “This partnership highlights FlyUs’s strong track record in cargo sales and our commitment to providing market-leading representation. It also offers forwarders direct and reliable access into Saudi Arabia — a market that’s rapidly growing in importance for manufacturing, e-commerce, perishables, and high-value logistics.”

Pravin Singh, Head of Cargo at Riyadh Air, said the partnership underscores the airline’s focus on building a strong operational foundation in key international markets.

“The appointment of FlyUs marks the beginning of a long-term partnership built on shared ambition and operational excellence,” Singh said. “Their local expertise and proven experience will help us deliver Riyadh Air’s promise of dependable, customer-focused cargo solutions throughout the UK and Ireland.”

Riyadh Air is expected to play a key role in achieving Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 goals by connecting Riyadh with 100 destinations worldwide by the end of the decade, facilitating growth in trade and logistics across global markets.

De Haas added that FlyUs’s own trucking network, which provides daily temperature-controlled services between the Benelux region and the UK, will further support Riyadh Air’s operations.

“For our forwarding clients in Europe, this means they can take advantage of Riyadh Air’s new Heathrow route through our integrated road feeder services,” he said.
