Rhenus Group Completes Blu Logistics LATAM Rebranding to Rhenus Logistics
The Rhenus Group has officially completed the rebranding of Blu Logistics LATAM to Rhenus Logistics, solidifying its expanded footprint and operational integration across Latin America.
Following Rhenus’ 2023 acquisition of Blu Logistics LATAM, the company’s operations in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, and Uruguay will now fully transition to the Rhenus Logistics brand. This move complements and strengthens Rhenus’ existing network across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico, particularly in Air & Ocean freight services and warehousing solutions.
The rebranding aims to provide customers across the region with greater consistency, connectivity, and access to the Rhenus Group’s global standards and service portfolio.
The transition comes during a period of notable growth: in 2024, the combined operations of Rhenus Logistics LATAM and Blu Logistics LATAM handled over 210,000 TEUs of full container load (FCL) shipments—representing a 16.67% increase from Blu Logistics LATAM’s 180,000 TEUs in 2023. This growth has been driven by enhanced capacity, operational efficiencies, and access to Rhenus’ global network.
Rhenus’ strengthened position, particularly along the Far East Asia–LATAM trade lanes, has reinforced its status as a leading freight forwarder in the region. The company has also continued to invest in expansion, most recently opening a new branch in Belo Horizonte, Brazil to deepen its presence in strategic logistics hubs.

This rebranding underscores Rhenus’ strategic focus on building its Air & Ocean division in high-growth markets and delivering fully integrated, end-to-end supply chain solutions worldwide.
