WFS has officially begun operations at its new facility at Frankfurt Airport (FRA), opening two weeks ahead of schedule.
The launch supports the company’s ongoing expansion of its E-commerce & Freight Forwarder Handling (EFFH) services at Europe’s largest air cargo hub. The WFS-operated, multi-user site is strategically located in Cargo City South and comprises two warehouses with a combined area of 12,000 square metres, along with two office buildings totaling 10,000 square metres.
The facility has been designed to enable efficient truck shuttle operations while accommodating rising demand from freight forwarders and e-commerce handlers. The development highlights WFS’ long-term commitment to Frankfurt and its role within the airport’s dynamic air cargo ecosystem.
The early opening marks a strong operational start and a significant milestone for WFS at FRA, made possible by the efforts of teams across the organization.
