The Federal Association of German Airlines (BDF) has elected Gregor Schleussner, Chief Financial and Chief Human Resources Officer at Lufthansa Cargo, as a new member of its Executive Board.
Schleussner succeeds Frank Bauer and will represent the interests of Lufthansa Cargo within the BDF leadership. His appointment underscores the strategic importance of the cargo sector to the German aviation industry.
Elected on 1 September 2025, Schleussner will bring financial, HR, and operational expertise to the association at a time of transformation in air transport.
Alongside him, Dr. Kay Lindemann, Head of Corporate Policy at the Lufthansa Group, was also appointed to the BDF Executive Board in a by-election.
