JD Airlines, the cargo arm of JD Logistics, has launched a new scheduled service between Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport (SZX) and Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) to strengthen cross-border e-commerce and electronics trade in the Asia-Pacific region.

The inaugural flight took place on 19 September and will operate three times weekly (Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday), departing Shenzhen at 9:00 a.m. and arriving in Singapore at 3:00 p.m. The service is operated with a Boeing 737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF), offering a maximum payload of 22 tons. JD Airlines currently operates a fleet of 10 B737-800BCFs, including four leased from AerCap.

Outbound shipments primarily include consumer electronics and e-commerce parcels, with some time-sensitive cargo connecting via Singapore to Europe and North America. Return flights will carry electronics, auto parts, and transshipped e-commerce goods from Europe and the U.S. through Singapore.

JD Airlines emphasized that the new route supports both the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area economic circle and the core Southeast Asian market, enhancing supply chain efficiency across international trade corridors.

“We hope that through this route, we will open a smoother channel for Chinese manufacturing and sellers, while improving turnover efficiency in Southeast Asia and international markets,” the airline said.

The Shenzhen–Singapore service adds to JD Airlines’ growing network of more than 20 domestic and international routes, including services to Incheon, Bangkok, Yangon, Kuala Lumpur, Ezhou, Chengdu, and Nantong.

Founded in 2017 as part of JD.com, JD Logistics has expanded into a global technology-driven supply chain provider, offering end-to-end logistics solutions for businesses and consumers worldwide.
