FL Technics has appointed Mazvydas Matazinskas as its new Head of Logistics and Storage, reinforcing the company’s commitment to operational excellence and global service delivery in aviation logistics.
Bringing more than a decade of experience to the role, including eight years within FL Technics’ logistics division, Matazinskas will be responsible for leading the company’s global logistics strategy, overseeing its execution, and driving further innovation and process improvements.
“This career step gives me the opportunity to apply my accumulated experience to support the company’s growth – by developing innovative, LEAN-driven processes, strengthening relationships with international clients, and improving internal operations,” said Matazinskas.
Highlighting the strategic importance of logistics within the aviation sector, Matazinskas noted that FL Technics’ logistics division is a core element of its global operations.
“Aviation logistics is a highly specialized field requiring deep knowledge of sector-specific regulations and supply chain demands. Over the past decade, we’ve consistently delivered tailored logistics solutions for MRO providers, airlines, leasing firms, and freight forwarders. In the last 12 months alone, we’ve shipped over 20,000 consignments worldwide,” he added.
Zilvinas Lapinskas, CEO of FL Technics, emphasized that the logistics division is entering a transformative phase:
