Emirates unveils bespoke A380 livery for new Courier Express service

Share

Emirates has revealed a striking custom livery on one of its Airbus A380 aircraft to celebrate the launch of its new door-to-door express delivery service, Emirates Courier Express.

The newly liveried aircraft is a visual embodiment of the airline’s ambitions to redefine express logistics by blending Emirates’ four decades of expertise in transporting people and goods worldwide.

A design inspired by parcel delivery

The aircraft’s distinctive look was conceived and executed by Emirates Engineering. It underwent a full repaint involving design, production, and installation. The livery is inspired by brown paper parcels, with the fuselage wrapped in a kraft-paper aesthetic that appears torn away to reveal the UAE flag on the tailfin and the Emirates Courier Express logo on both sides.

Each of the aircraft’s four engines also bears the new logo, while the underbelly retains the classic red Emirates branding. Playful design elements such as a large “special delivery” stamp and international handling stamps further animate the livery, emphasising the aircraft’s new courier role.

First flight combines passengers and parcels

The Emirates Courier Express A380 made its inaugural flight this week to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, symbolising the dual function of the aircraft—transporting both passengers and parcels directly to their destinations.

The initiative underlines Emirates’ drive to innovate in the logistics sector, extending its premium service offering from the skies to customers’ doorsteps.
