DHL Global Forwarding, the freight division of DHL Group, has announced the appointment of Amanda Rasmussen as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), effective May 15, 2025. She will report directly to Tim Scharwath, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding, Freight.
Rasmussen succeeds Thomas George, who has transitioned to a Group-level role as Executive Vice President, where he will lead the implementation of DHL Group’s 2030 corporate strategy.
“Amanda’s deep understanding of global logistics and her track record in commercial leadership will be instrumental as we navigate an increasingly complex trade environment,” said Tim Scharwath. “She is well-equipped to drive our value proposition forward.”

- Nearly 30 years of logistics experience across the U.S., Asia, and Europe.
- Joined DHL in 2010 through its International Supply Chain (ISC) division.
- Previously held senior roles at Indo Trans Logistics and Expeditors International.
- Returned to DHL in 2024 as SVP, Order Management Solutions (OMS).
