Delta Cargo has partnered with Trackonomy, a global leader in Physical AI and smart logistics solutions, to launch Pulse, a new platform that delivers real-time visibility and predictive intelligence across Delta’s air freight network.
Built on Trackonomy’s advanced Physical AI technology and the Sentient Platform, Pulse enables Delta to detect and address shipment disruptions before they occur — boosting reliability, reducing delays, and improving customer confidence.
Currently active at major U.S. airports, Pulse integrates real-time cargo data, flight information, and on-ground tracking through sensors deployed across ULDs, tugs, and belt loaders. The platform provides seamless, gate-level transparency for Delta’s DASH and DASH Critical shipments, setting a new benchmark for intelligent tracking in the air cargo industry.
“Pulse represents a major leap forward in how cargo moves through our network,” said Andy Kirschner, Director of Americas Sales, Delta Cargo. “By leveraging Trackonomy’s advanced visibility and AI-driven alerting technology, we’re able to not just identify issues before they happen but at times resolve them autonomously — so every shipment moves with greater reliability and confidence. It’s just one more way we’re making it easier to do business with Delta Cargo.”
Built on Trackonomy’s aviation-grade Sentient Platform, Pulse acts as a dynamic ERP layer that unifies Delta’s Cargo IQ-compliant data, real-time flight information, and third-party sources such as FlightAware. The result is a predictive, distributed, and self-optimizing system that enables autonomous intervention and real-time operational intelligence across airport environments.
The system’s distributed, agent-based architecture extends a digital shield across key airport assets — including gateways, solar-equipped tugs, ULDs, and belt-loader-mounted sensors — ensuring that critical operations are continuously monitored. By connecting ramp operations to the cloud, Pulse provides end-to-end cargo visibility, predictive recovery insights, and faster issue resolution. Its plug-and-play design allows for rapid deployment and scalability across Delta’s global network.
“Our collaboration with Delta Cargo continues to set new benchmarks for the logistics industry,” said Erik Volkerink, CEO of Trackonomy. “Through Pulse and our Sentient Platform, we’re bringing distributed Physical AI and predictive analytics directly into the hands of airline teams and clients — turning every shipment and airport operation into a source of actionable intelligence.”
Together, Delta Cargo and Trackonomy are redefining air freight visibility through innovation, bringing unprecedented levels of transparency, reliability, and predictive capability to global logistics.
