Chapman Freeborn has appointed R-BAG Group as its General Sales Agent (GSA) across Eastern Europe, effective 1st March 2026.

The agreement is set to cover cargo charter services within the region. This latest move is intended to further strengthen the charterer’s sales reach and customer support capabilities in one of aviation’s most dynamic growth markets.

Markus Schmidt, VP Cargo Commercial Operations, Chapman Freeborn, said: “To maximise Eastern Europe’s potential for charter services, we needed a reliable partner on the ground – and we are positive that R-BAG will fulfil that role better than anyone.

“After all, the Group is known not only for its deep-rooted network of regional connections, but also for its track record of sales expertise that will complement our own capabilities perfectly.

“This partnership reflects Chapman Freeborn’s unrelenting commitment to expanding our presence in Europe and ensuring that our clients receive nothing but the highest standard of service, regardless of where they operate.”

R-BAG Group will take on GSA responsibilities in Eastern Europe, excluding Poland, where the charter specialist maintains its own dedicated team – giving the company a consistent and well-resourced presence across the region as a whole.

Éva Van Baaren-Horváth, Group Managing Director, R-BAG Group said: “We’ve watched demand for air charter services grow steadily across Eastern Europe, and we’ve long believed the region deserves a stronger, more locally grounded offer.

“Representing Chapman Freeborn finally gives us a platform to deliver just that. It’s a partnership that makes perfect sense – and so does the timing.”

The appointment of R-BAG Group as GSA for Eastern Europe is the latest step in Chapman Freeborn’s ongoing European growth strategy.
