MLE, ground handling company and part of Bcube Air Cargo, operating at Milan Malpensa Airport, is making a decisive move to expand its business with China by entering a strategic collaboration with Hubei International Logistics Airport Co., —whose operational entity is the logistics cargo-only hub of Ezhou Huahu airport.
This transformative alliance is poised to enhance trade links between China and Italy, paving the way for fresh growth opportunities and boosting the movement of goods along vital global corridors.
Bcube MLE reaffirmed its commitment to boosting trade potential between China and Italy by signing a strategic cooperation agreement with Hubei International Logistics Airport Co. during an official event held on August 8 at Ezhou Huahu Airport’s facilities.
The agreement was signed by Mauro Grisafi, Chief Executive Officer at Bcube Air Cargo and Mr. Luo Guowei, Party Committee Member, Deputy General Manager of Hubei Airport Group Company. This milestone marks the beginning of a long-term collaboration between the two organizations.
Under the terms of the agreement, Bcube MLE will play a strategic role in promoting Ezhou Huahu Airport to its own clients as a key logistics gateway within China’s network, helping to drive exports from Italy and increase e-commerce import from China.

Bcube MLE is already working with carriers operating out of Ezhou Huahu Airport.
Opened in 2022, the airport is Asia’s first dedicated cargo hub and features 135 aircraft stands, dual 3,600-meter runways, and an annual capacity of 3.3 million tons of cargo.
Located in Hubei Province, it offers unmatched domestic reach and rapidly expanding international connectivity.
