AGI Cargo, a leading provider of cargo and ground handling services across North America, has announced a five-year extension of its freighter ground handling contract with LATAM Cargo at Miami International Airport (MIA).

The renewed agreement will begin in June 2026 and will extend the partnership through 2031, reinforcing the long-standing collaboration between the two companies at one of the world’s busiest air cargo hubs.

AGI has supported LATAM Cargo’s operations at MIA since 2015, marking a decade of partnership focused on operational excellence, safety, and reliability. Under the new contract, AGI will continue to provide comprehensive freighter ground handling for approximately 5,400 flights annually — a figure expected to rise in the coming years as airfreight demand continues to grow.

Jared Azcuy, Chief Executive Officer of AGI, said:

“LATAM Cargo has been a valued partner of AGI for ten years, and we are honored to continue building on this foundation.
Our Miami team is committed to delivering the highest standards of safety, reliability, and service excellence to support LATAM’s mission and growth.”

The extension also underscores AGI’s continued investment in state-of-the-art infrastructure, technology, and safety enhancements at Miami International Airport.

With this agreement, AGI strengthens its role as a trusted handling partner for major global carriers operating across the Americas, supporting the smooth, efficient, and secure movement of goods through one of the region’s most important logistics gateways.
