Aerion redefines air cargo strategy at ACE Munich and welcomes Ismail Durmaz to leadership

Aerion made a powerful debut at ACE Munich, firmly establishing itself as the strategic think tank for airlines looking to elevate and transform their cargo operations. Strong interest from industry leaders and early-stage partnerships already in discussion underscore the relevance of Aerion’s innovative model—blending strategic advisory, modular capabilities, and immediate operational impact.

What differentiates Aerion is its ability to deliver modular, customizable, and fully integrated solutions across the entire logistics value chain: Commercial, Tech, Operations, and Support. Airlines benefit from a concentrated set of high-impact resources—ranging from strategic insight and digital acceleration to operational excellence and ancillary services integration—typically difficult to access without major internal investment.

Beyond consulting, Aerion actively supports strategic collaborations and investments, co-creating or co-investing in initiatives that reflect its long-term vision for air cargo transformation.

To support its ambitious growth trajectory, Aerion is reinforcing its leadership team. The group is proud to announce the appointment of Ismail Durmaz as Partner, Corporate & Business Affairs. He will work closely with Adrien Thominet, Chairman & Founder, to align Aerion’s strategic vision with its partnerships and execution.

“I am honoured to join Aerion at such a pivotal moment for the industry,” said Ismail Durmaz. “This project delivers real value to airlines—shared expertise, digital tools, and a holistic vision—with an agility that’s unique in our sector.”

Aerion also announced plans to unveil its Advisory Board, comprising experts from cargo, logistics, tech, and innovation. This board will provide critical foresight, challenge the group’s roadmap, and offer direct client support—ensuring Aerion stays ahead of industry demands.

“Aerion was born from a simple belief: airlines need tailor-made solutions, transparency, and strategic support,” said Adrien Thominet. “Our mission is to make the inaccessible accessible, providing clients with immediate access to expertise and innovation.”
