CCE Group, a Hivest Capital Partners portfolio company and a leading aerospace platform focused on cabin and cargo equipment solutions, has announced the acquisition of Icebridge, a Finland-based innovator in cooling technologies for airline catering. The move marks a significant step in CCE Group’s strategy to broaden its capabilities across the cabin and cargo equipment ecosystem.
Headquartered in Tuusula, Icebridge is widely recognized as a pioneer in onboard cooling solutions. Its product portfolio includes wet ice boxes, cooling cassettes, trolley coolers, and cooling chests—equipment designed to maintain chilled temperatures for extended periods. Today, Icebridge technology supports catering operations for more than 70 airlines worldwide.
