Swissport has appointed Chris Severson as its new Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, reporting directly to President & CEO Warwick Brady. In his new role, Severson will spearhead Swissport’s global transformation strategy, with a strong focus on operational excellence, digital innovation, and shaping the next-generation airport experience.

Severson brings extensive leadership experience in transformation and value creation. Prior to joining Swissport, he served as Operating Managing Director at Terra Firma, one of Europe’s leading private equity firms, where he led strategic transformation across a diverse portfolio. His career also includes senior leadership positions at Philip Morris International and Digicel Group, where he oversaw major organisational change across multiple international markets.
His appointment reflects Swissport’s continued commitment to leveraging technology, data, and innovation to enhance service quality and reinforce its position as the world’s leading aviation services provider.
