Independent General Sales and Service Agent 4RCargohas formally launched operations in the Baltic region, appointing Vladislavs Pecevics as regional and product manager.

The move marks the company’s expansion into Northern Europe, with its new office covering Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Mr Pecevics brings more than 15 years’ experience in the air cargo sector, with a background in network development and commercial strategy. He will be responsible for strengthening 4RCargo’s air freight connections between the Baltics and global markets.

Matthew Taylor, chief commercial officer at 4RCargo, said the appointment would support the company’s efforts to build its presence in the region and enhance export access for European shippers.

The Baltics are viewed by the industry as a strategically important logistics corridor, offering access to both Northern and Eastern European markets, supported by established airport infrastructure and export-driven economies.

Gateway to global markets

4RCargo said the expansion forms part of its broader development strategy, positioning the Baltics as a gateway for cargo flows from Northern Europe to the rest of the world.

Mr Pecevics said establishing a local presence would allow the company to offer airlines and freight forwarders tailored commercial support, improved connectivity and faster decision-making.

In his dual role as product manager, he will also promote 4RCargo’s specialist cargo products, combining digital tools with its expanding European network to deliver value-added services across the region.
