Airport services provider Talma has announced the appointment of Edgardo Carbonel as its new General Manager in Peru, bringing with him over 25 years of experience within the Sandoval Group, Talma’s parent company.
An industrial engineer by training, Carbonel has held several key leadership positions within the group, including Finance and Administration Manager at logistics company Dinet (2001–2006) and later as Corporate Finance and Administration Manager at Sandoval Group (2006–2009).
Most recently, he served as General Manager of Inmobiliaria Koricancha, a role he held since 2019.
Carbonel holds an MBA and a Master’s degree in Real Estate Management and Development from Peru’s prestigious ESAN University.
The announcement also confirmed Arturo Cassinelli will continue as Corporate General Manager for Talma’s operations across Peru, Mexico, Ecuador, and Colombia.
The leadership team in the region also includes Vladimir Muñoz (Mexico), Delia Guerra (Ecuador), and Gonzalo Aristizábal (Colombia) as respective country General Managers.
Talma is one of Latin America’s leading airport services providers, with operations that span ground handling, cargo, and aviation security across several major international airports.
Carbonel’s appointment comes as the company continues its strategic expansion and operational enhancement throughout the region.
