Softlink Global and MatchLog Sign Strategic MoU to Integrate Container Optimisation into Logi-Sys ERP

Share

Softlink Global has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with MatchLog, the world’s largest container reuse platform, to embed advanced container optimisation capabilities directly into Logi-Sys, Softlink Global’s cloud-based ERP system for freight and logistics operations.

The partnership marks a significant step in extending Logi-Sys beyond a traditional transactional ERP into a fully integrated, asset-efficient logistics platform. By integrating MatchLog’s container reuse intelligence into daily operational workflows, freight forwarders and logistics service providers can reduce empty container movements, improve asset utilisation, and enhance planning accuracy across regional and cross-border supply chains.

Logi-Sys serves as the system of record for freight forwarding, customs, warehousing, compliance, and financial management. With the addition of container optimisation and reuse planning, users will now be able to manage container assets directly within live operational environments, strengthening predictability and operational efficiency while reducing costs and emissions.

Commenting on the collaboration, Amit Maheshwari, Founder and CEO of Softlink Global, said:

“Container optimisation cannot operate in isolation from a logistics company’s core systems. By embedding MatchLog’s reuse intelligence directly into Logi-Sys, we are evolving ERP from transaction management to asset efficiency. This enables our customers to achieve tighter cost control, improved planning discipline, and cleaner execution without adding complexity to their operations.”

Manish Singh, Co-Founder of MatchLog, added:

“Container imbalance and empty repositioning remain persistent challenges across major trade lanes, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. This collaboration makes container optimisation a seamless part of everyday logistics workflows. Integrating our platform into enterprise ERP systems like Logi-Sys empowers operators to improve asset utilisation, reduce costs, and advance more sustainable and efficient supply chains.”

Softlink Global’s Logi-Sys platform is deployed in more than 100 countries and supports over one million users worldwide. The new integration is designed to scale across Softlink’s global enterprise customer base, allowing logistics companies to adopt container reuse practices in a standardised yet regionally adaptable manner.

MatchLog continues to see strong adoption across Asian trade corridors and works with leading global shipping lines, including Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd, and Pacific International Lines. Through the partnership with Softlink Global, MatchLog’s container optimisation capabilities will now be accessible to a broader enterprise audience via the Logi-Sys ERP ecosystem.
