Kuehne+Nagel (K+N) has commenced work on a new e-commerce center near Dubai World Central (DXB) Airport. Situated in the dedicated e-commerce zone EZDubai, the facility will benefit from exemptions on customs clearance within bonded logistics corridors.

Scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2025, the new center will feature 23,000 square meters of warehousing, equating to approximately 45,000 pallet positions. This facility will provide comprehensive fulfillment and distribution services.

Lee I’Ons, Gulf Cooperation Council cluster managing director at K+N, stated, “With the development of this new e-commerce fulfillment center, Kuehne+Nagel continues to show commitment to the UAE and Dubai, supporting one of the fastest-growing economies globally. The new facility brings our customers ‘ease of doing business’ in Dubai and across the region.”

Mohsen Ahmad, chief executive of the logistics district, Dubai South, added, “We are pleased to witness the groundbreaking of Kuehne+Nagel’s new facility, which will be of great added value to the logistics sector. We are committed to reinforcing the company’s expansion and growth through our advanced services and solutions and to contribute to Dubai’s position as a global logistics hub.”

This new facility marks K+N’s second project announced in Dubai within the past year. In December, the company revealed it would operate social enterprise IDA Foundation’s healthcare hub for the Middle East and Africa region, located in Dubai. The IDA Foundation hub, situated at the K+N facility in Dubai South, will serve as a centralized kitting and global health logistics center for the region and beyond.
