Crane Worldwide Logistics Deploys cargo.one Across Global Operations

Crane Worldwide Logistics has partnered with cargo.one to roll out the AI-powered air freight platform across its global network, marking a significant step in the forwarder’s ongoing digital transformation.

The collaboration aims to modernise Crane’s procurement infrastructure by consolidating rate management into a single centralised database, while automating and streamlining quoting and booking workflows to reduce operational complexity and costs.

Unified Platform Enhances Efficiency and Decision-Making

As supply chain environments grow increasingly complex, Crane has adopted a suite of integrated cargo.one solutions, including cargo.one pro, Live Rates, Static Rates, Live Estimates, Rate Engine, Quotes API, AI-powered Quoting, and Tender Feeder.

The platform provides Crane’s teams with a unified source of rate data across all branches, enabling faster access to live, contract, and internally managed rates. This allows for improved consistency and accuracy in pricing while supporting more data-driven decision-making.

Gateway teams can now instantly access relevant rate options, while the centralised Rate Engine simplifies the management of buy, internal, and sell rates within a single interface.

AI and Automation Drive Productivity Gains

Through cargo.one’s Quotes API and AI-powered quoting tools, Crane can deliver faster and more accurate customer quotes and responses to requests for information (RFIs), improving the overall customer experience.

The scalable infrastructure also enables Crane to handle higher quoting volumes without increasing headcount, supporting efficiency gains across its global operations.

cargo.one’s solutions are fully integrated with Crane’s WiseTech-powered transport management system (TMS), ensuring seamless data flow and operational continuity.

Supporting Long-Term AI Strategy

Brannon Kuykendall, Chief Information Officer at Crane Worldwide Logistics, said the partnership enhances access to a broad portfolio of airline rates while supporting the company’s ambition to build advanced AI-driven capabilities.

He noted that modern integration methods and real-time data streaming allow Crane’s teams to focus on innovation rather than managing fragmented data sources.

cargo.one’s platform also serves as a flexible, AI-native backend, supporting Crane’s ongoing development of proprietary AI tools and automation strategies.

Industry Shift Toward Data-Driven Freight Operations

Moritz Claussen, Founder and Co-CEO of cargo.one, said the collaboration reflects a broader industry trend, with forwarders increasingly seeking comprehensive data, intelligent automation, and scalable digital infrastructure.

The partnership positions Crane Worldwide Logistics to enhance pricing accuracy, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen its competitiveness in a rapidly evolving global air cargo market.
