CHI Cargo Group expands partnership with Oman Air

Cargogate Munich Airport GmbH, part of the CHI Cargo Group, has successfully extended and expanded its longstanding partnership with Oman Air, reaffirming a business relationship built on loyalty, reliability, and performance.

For three years, the two companies have worked hand in hand at Munich Airport, where Cargogate has been responsible for airline handling and related services for Oman Air’s operations.

Now, with the signing of the extension of the contract, both companies are taking their partnership to the next level.

The contract has not only been formally extended in Munich, but it is also being closed to Frankfurt Airport as of July 2025 – thus whole cargo handling of Oman Air in Germany is operated by CHI Cargo Group.

This strategic enhancement is being realised through CHI Aviation Handling GmbH, also part of the CHI Cargo Group, headquartered at Frankfurt Airport.

CHI Aviation will now deliver the same high standards of efficiency and customer-focused service in Frankfurt that have set the benchmark in Munich.

“Our journey with Oman Air has been defined by trust, dedication, and continuous improvement,” said Dominik Mißkampf, managing director of Cargogate and CHI Aviation.

“Expanding our services to Frankfurt is not just a milestone – it’s a strong vote of confidence in the quality and consistency of our teams working across locations.”

The extended agreement highlights the continued alignment between Oman Air’s premium service philosophy and CHI’s hands-on expertise as a full-service provider.

It also reflects both companies’ confidence in the future development of their partnership, particularly with CHI’s innovative offerings such as the direct delivery product using the Speedgate at Frankfurt Airport.

“CHI continues to meet our high expectations with reliable, forward-thinking solutions,” said Michael Duggan, head of cargo at Oman Air.

“This expansion brings the strength of our partnership to the next level.”
