Brussels Airport and ConnexEurope have inaugurated a new logistics building located in the cargo zone of Brussels Airport.
The facility will serve as ConnexEurope’s Belgian headquarters and support its European operations. Formerly operating under the Comexas name, the company has been active at Brussels Airport since the 1990s and specialises in logistics flows between Europe and Africa, focusing on air freight, sea freight, customs, and transport.
The new ConnexEurope site, realised by Brussels Airport, includes around 3,400 m² of warehouse space and 500 m² of offices, creating a more practical set up for day to day coordination across shipments and transport modes.
The facility brings ConnexEurope’s Belgian teams and activities together under one roof.
Sustainability was a key element in the design of the building, which has obtained BREEAM Excellent certification.
This reflects strong performance in energy efficiency and environmental impact and is in line with Brussels Airport’s broader ambition to modernise its cargo infrastructure in a sustainable way.

From its Brussels hub, ConnexEurope handles air freight via passenger aircraft, cargo freighters and charters, alongside sea freight and specialised services such as perishables and complex project cargo, particularly for mining clients in Africa.
