Bringer Air Cargo has launched its inaugural Boeing 767-300F service to Navegantes Airport in Santa Catarina, with the first flight arriving on 26 November from Miami. The airline will begin with weekly operations and plans to scale up to three or four flights per week as demand grows.
The route was originally planned in 2019 but was postponed due to the pandemic and regulatory hurdles. Prior to launch, Bringer Air Cargo and its aeronautical consulting partners conducted extensive technical and safety assessments, determining that the airport needed several infrastructure upgrades—including a runway extension of at least 100 meters, a 45-meter expansion of the emergency lane, and enhancements to aircraft manoeuvring and parking areas—to support widebody freighter operations.
These improvements were carried out through a coordinated effort with Motiva Airports and PACLOG Cargo Terminals, securing the approvals required to introduce the new service. The inaugural flight was operated using a LATAM Cargo Boeing 767-300F under Bringer’s cargo program.
Bringer Air Cargo President Eduardo De Castro highlighted the significance of the milestone, calling the route “a symbol of perseverance, collaboration, and our commitment to connecting markets,” and emphasizing its role in opening new trade opportunities for Brazil’s rapidly growing import region.
