Freighter operator AeroLogic has named Marcus Niedermeyer as its new co-managing director and chief financial officer (CFO).
In his role at the Lufthansa/DHL joint venture, Niedermeyer will oversee finance, human resources, IT, and administration—a position he has held on an interim basis since July 2024. He succeeds Katharina Prost, who served in the role from October 2022 to July 2024.
Niedermeyer will share managing director responsibilities with Josef Moser, who has been in the position since 2017.
With over 29 years of professional experience, both within and outside the Lufthansa Group, Niedermeyer brings a wealth of expertise to AeroLogic. Prior to this role, he was managing director of Air Mail Center Frankfurt and held various management positions at Lufthansa Cargo.
Frank Bauer, chief financial officer of Lufthansa Cargo, welcomed Niedermeyer, stating:
