Globe Air Cargo Dominican Republic Partners with Uniworld Air Cargo to Expand Regional Network
Globe Air Cargo Dominican Republic, part of ECS Group, has signed a new agreement with Uniworld Air Cargo to support the launch of freighter operations connecting Punta Cana (PUJ) and Panama City (PTY).
The new service, which began on 23 March 2026, operates twice weekly using a Boeing 737 freighter and offers an estimated 40 tonnes of weekly capacity.
Strengthening Latin America Connectivity
The new route enhances regional cargo flows by linking the Caribbean with Central and South America, while also opening onward connections across a wider global network.
Key destinations accessible via Panama include:
- Bogotá
- Caracas
- Havana
- San Salvador
- Lima
- San José
Additional routing options via Mexico (NLU) provide further access into North American markets, including the United States and Canada.
Supporting Diverse Cargo Segments
The service is designed to handle a broad mix of cargo types, including:
- General cargo
- Live animals (AVI)
- Perishables (PER)
- Oversized shipments
This flexibility supports a wide range of industries across the region, particularly those requiring reliable and time-sensitive logistics solutions.
