Korean Air and Group Concorde Celebrate 15 Years of Partnership in India

Korean Air and Group Concorde marked 15 years of partnership in India, commemorating a collaboration shaped by trust, resilience and long-term commitment to the market.

The milestone event traced the evolution of Korean Air’s presence in India, from its early passenger and cargo operations to expanded connectivity through Delhi. It also highlighted the airline’s strong cargo network, which played a critical role during the COVID-19 pandemic, and acknowledged the continued support of trade partners across the country.

The celebration was attended by Senior IPS Officer Deepak Gahlawat, Regional Director, Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS), Government of India, and Krishan Jakhar, Assistant Director, BCAS, Government of India.

Commenting on the occasion, Prithviraj Chug, CEO, Group Concorde, said, “It has been a great privilege to represent Korean Air in India, and it has truly been an honour to grow together through the many phases of its journey in the market.”

Dae Seon Son, Country Head – India, Korean Air, noted that the airline’s operations in India have remained stable despite a challenging year for the aviation industry. “This has been possible due to the continued trust and support of our travel partners and corporate clients,” he said. He added that India remains a key market for Korean Air, with the airline focused on sustainable growth, high service standards and long-term value creation built on partnership and trust.
