Turkish Cargo and CargoHub Complete Successful RFS Control Tower PoC

Share

Turkish Cargo and CargoHub have successfully completed a Proof of Concept (PoC) for a digital Road Feeder Service (RFS) Control Tower, marking an important step forward in the digitalisation of air cargo ground operations.

The objective of the PoC was to assess how increased digital operational control, shared visibility, and real-time data exchange among air cargo RFS stakeholders can enhance operational efficiency and improve the Delivered-As-Promised (DAP) ratio.

During the trial, Turkish Cargo evaluated how end-to-end RFS visibility can support proactive decision-making, improve exception management, and enable tighter control over trucking performance. CargoHub, meanwhile, validated how its platform facilitates seamless collaboration between airlines, handlers, and trucking partners through a single digital source of truth.

The PoC demonstrated that data-driven RFS orchestration can reduce uncertainty, improve predictability, and strengthen trust across the logistics chain. It also highlighted how airlines can play a leading role in improving RFS reliability without increasing operational complexity.

The project benefited from close collaboration between both teams, combining operational expertise with a strong openness to innovation. The successful outcome provides a clear example of how digital solutions can help move the air cargo industry forward.
