Envirotainer, a provider of cold chain solutions for temperature-sensitive pharmaceuticals, has launched Live Monitoring, a next-generation connectivity upgrade to its industry-leading E-Tech RAP e2 container.
The new capability gives customers real-time visibility into every shipment, including temperature, location and door status.
With live data transmitted throughout transit, logistics teams can proactively respond to any deviation or unexpected event, protecting valuable medicines and reducing the risk of product loss.
Niklas Adamsson, Interim CEO and COO at Envirotainer said: “With Live Monitoring now standard in our E-Tech RAP e2 containers, we’re taking another step forward in delivering smarter, safer, and more connected cold chain solutions.
“This upgrade empowers our customers with real-time visibility and control, helping them protect life-saving pharmaceuticals with greater confidence and efficiency across the globe.”
With this latest upgrade, Envirotainer’s digitally connected fleet now consists of 3,800 pallet-sized units, including the existing Releye fleet, reaffirming its status as the largest digitally enabled active ULD fleet in the industry.
