Kuwait Airways has announced the signing of a joint cooperation protocol with LuLu Hypermarket Kuwait, marking a new milestone in its efforts to expand strategic partnerships and enhance cooperation across multiple sectors.

The agreement aims to boost trade exchange, with Kuwait Airways designated as a carrier for LuLu Hypermarket employees and for the transport of goods, supporting national economic growth and creating new opportunities that benefit both organisations and their customers.

The protocol was signed by Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan, Chairman of Kuwait Airways, and Mr. Sreejith Kolanthra Sreerajan, Director of Operations at LuLu Hypermarket Kuwait, in the presence of Captain Abdulwahab Ibrahim Al-Shatti, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Kuwait Airways, along with senior officials from both companies.

Under the agreement, LuLu Hypermarket will be able to transport its goods from various global destinations via Kuwait Airways, while the airline will also serve as a designated carrier for LuLu’s employees and customers.

The cooperation establishes a broad framework for bilateral collaboration, promoting the exchange of cargo, commercial services, and participation in joint marketing initiatives, events, and campaigns that enhance mutual visibility and customer value.

Captain Abdulmohsen Salem Al-Fagaan, Chairman of Kuwait Airways, said:
“Kuwait Airways is pleased to sign this memorandum of understanding with LuLu Hypermarket Kuwait, one of the leading retail entities in the region.
With its strong presence across all governorates of Kuwait, LuLu Hypermarket is an ideal partner for implementing joint initiatives that enrich the customer experience and enhance business cooperation.”

Al-Fagaan added:

“This protocol represents a new step in Kuwait Airways’ strategy to expand partnerships with private sector institutions in the country, enhancing the competitiveness of the national economy and supporting the shared vision of building a diversified and sustainable economy.”

He further noted that the partnership aligns with Kuwait’s “New Kuwait 2035” vision, aimed at strengthening the country’s position as a regional financial and commercial hub through partnerships that create added value and promote sustainable development.

“This collaboration consolidates our commitment to fostering effective partnerships with both public and private sector entities,” Al-Fagaan said. “It reflects Kuwait Airways’ firm belief in the power of integration among national institutions to support economic development and advance Kuwait’s long-term aspirations.”

The signing marks the beginning of a series of future joint projects between Kuwait Airways and LuLu Hypermarket, designed to enhance service quality, create new value for customers, and contribute to Kuwait’s commercial and economic progress.
