Nathan De Valck, a veteran in the global air cargo industry, has been named the new Chief Executive Officer of Antwerp and Ostend airports, with the appointment set to take effect in June 2025, operator Egis Group announced today.

De Valck will take over from Eric Dumas, who has served as interim CEO following the departure of Bruno De Saegher in November 2024 after a brief tenure.

Currently serving as Managing Director for Belgium at Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), De Valck brings over 20 years of experience in air cargo operations and strategy.

At WFS, he has been responsible for managing cargo and ramp services at some of Belgium’s busiest hubs, including Brussels Airport (BRU) and Liège Airport (LGG).

His appointment marks a strategic move by Egis, which operates both Antwerp and Ostend airports, as the group looks to boost cargo and regional connectivity, and position the two airports as key players in Belgium’s aviation and logistics landscape.

De Valck’s expertise in cargo handling and airport operations is expected to support long-term development goals at both sites, particularly as the sector continues to navigate post-pandemic recovery, digital transformation, and sustainability demands.
