Rhenus has appointed Scott Dudley as Managing Director of Rhenus Air & Ocean UK. In his new role, Dudley will lead the division’s next phase of growth in the UK, focusing on strengthening customer experience, expanding the business and supporting closer alignment with the company’s global One Rhenus strategy.
Dudley brings almost 20 years of logistics and supply chain experience to the role. Since joining Rhenus in 2019, he has held a number of leadership positions across Germany, the United States and the UK, including Branch Manager, Air & Ocean in Germany and Head of Ocean Freight for North America.
Before joining Rhenus, he spent ten years with DHL Global Forwarding, where he held a variety of operational and commercial roles in Germany, the United States and Hong Kong.
Dudley’s appointment comes as Rhenus continues to invest in its Air & Ocean business in the UK. The Rhenus Group is focused on building a stronger platform for growth through greater operational consistency, improved technology and enhanced support for customers navigating increasingly complex global supply chains.
As part of the wider One Rhenus strategy, the UK business will continue investing in technology, automation and improved shipment visibility to deliver a more connected experience for customers.
The company also sees significant opportunities to strengthen its support for small and medium-sized businesses while continuing to develop its offering for larger international customers.
