Globe Air Cargo France Strengthens Partnership with All Nippon Airways and Nippon Cargo Airlines
ECS Group’s Globe Air Cargo (GAC) France is working closely with All Nippon Airways (ANA) and Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) to strengthen NCA’s position in the French air cargo market as the two Japanese carriers further integrate their cargo networks.
Under the partnership, GAC France acts as a single point of sale for France, helping optimise capacity utilisation, streamline commercial processes and enhance market visibility.
Expanding Cargo Opportunities Through Integrated Networks
The collaboration combines NCA’s freighter operations with ANA’s passenger network, offering customers broader access to products, destinations and capacity through one commercial interface.
Jean Ceccaldi, Chief Executive Officer of ECS Group, said the integration creates significant opportunities to optimise network usage and strengthen market presence over the next 6–12 months.
He noted that GAC France aims to:
- Increase NCA’s visibility in the French market
- Expand and consolidate key accounts
- Target new customer segments
- Improve capacity utilisation across the combined network
Focus on High-Value Cargo Verticals
GAC France already operates a centralised ANA Cargo team focused on strategic sectors including:
- Aerospace
- Pharmaceuticals
- Automotive
- High-tech
With the integration of NCA’s operations, the offering will also expand into:
- Oversized cargo
- Cargo Aircraft Only (CAO) shipments
- High-value and specialised commodities
Franck Tordjman, Managing Director of Globe Air Cargo France, said the partnership combines strong local expertise with NCA’s global network to create new opportunities and deliver greater efficiency for customers.
Extensive Japan and Asia Network
NCA currently operates a fleet of Boeing 747-8F freighters with:
- Five weekly flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle via Amsterdam or Frankfurt to Japan
- Daily services to Hong Kong and Shanghai
- Three weekly flights to Bangkok
- Twice-weekly services to Singapore and Taipei
The integrated network provides expanded connectivity between France and major Asian cargo markets.
Digitalisation Driving Operational Efficiency
ECS Group highlighted digitalisation as a key element of the partnership.
NCA will benefit from ECS Group’s digital tools, including:
- Real-time capacity access
- Instant quote-to-booking functionality
- Optimised capacity utilisation through SkyPallet
Jean Ceccaldi said digital innovation is essential to managing larger and more complex cargo networks efficiently.
Strengthening France–Asia Air Cargo Links
The collaboration reinforces France’s role as a strategic gateway for cargo flows between Europe and Asia while supporting NCA’s long-term growth ambitions in the region.
By combining integrated networks, specialised cargo expertise and digital solutions, the partnership aims to deliver greater flexibility, visibility and value for freight customers across key trade lanes.
