WFS Holland has completed its acquisition of Menzies World Cargo (Amsterdam), expanding its warehouse capacity at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) to over 50,000 sq m.

The deal, signed in August 2024, officially closed on January 31, strengthening WFS’s operations at Schiphol, where capacity was previously nearing its limit.

With this acquisition, WFS—now serving over 120 airline and freight forwarder customers at AMS—gains additional capacity to support further business growth.

“This expansion coincides with WFS’s 20th anniversary of cargo handling at Schiphol and underscores our commitment to the airport and its cargo community,” said John Batten, chief executive for EMEAA at WFS.

He added that the acquisition enhances WFS’s service capabilities and provides a strong foundation for future growth. Welcoming the Menzies World Cargo team, Batten emphasized their role in supporting WFS’s continued contribution to Schiphol’s status as a leading European air cargo hub.
