Since its inception in 2004, Transport Logistic China has established itself as the premier trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management in the Asia-Pacific region. Over the past two decades, the show has set industry trends and served as a critical gateway for international companies entering the Chinese market and Chinese companies expanding globally.
From June 25-27, the Shanghai New International Expo Centre will host the global logistics and airfreight industry. This year’s event features over 700 exhibitors showcasing their products and services across 50,000 square meters of exhibition space. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the latest developments and trends through a comprehensive conference program.
The first Transport Logistic China in 2004 covered approximately 22,000 square meters. Today, the trade fair has evolved into a global platform for the logistics industry, with continuous international interest. China’s role as a pivotal hub for international goods movement remains significant, exemplified by the Port of Shanghai, the world’s largest and busiest port, handling over 25% of global shipping traffic. The burgeoning e-commerce market in China is also driving demand for innovative logistics solutions.
After a six-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Transport Logistic China is returning with a full-scale event, spanning 50,000 square meters and featuring more than 700 exhibitors, building on the success of 2018. The event will see numerous international joint participations from countries including Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and the Czech Republic, as well as participation from the industry association ITCO with its Tank Container Village, highlighting the fair’s international orientation.
The trade fair encompasses the entire spectrum of logistics services, from logistics real estate and air freight to land transport, port and shipping logistics, fresh produce logistics, logistics equipment, IT systems, and special vehicles.
In 2024, air cargo China will once again be part of Transport Logistic China. As the largest industry event for air cargo in the Asian region, it will cover around 10,000 square meters, making it larger than ever before. Visitors will have the opportunity to network with leading airlines such as China Southern Airlines, Cargolux, All Nippon Airways, Etihad Cargo, Lufthansa Cargo, Silk Way West Airlines, Qatar Cargo, and United Cargo, along with airports and logistics service providers.
Transport Logistic China and air cargo China also offer an excellent opportunity to gain the latest market insights. Experts from various logistics sectors will discuss pressing topics such as e-commerce, the Maritime Silk Road, and logistics trends and technologies in the manufacturing industry’s supply chain, focusing on the automotive, chemical, and textile industries. Conference sessions are free of charge for exhibitors and visitors.
Dr. Robert Schönberger, Global Industry Lead at Messe München, expressed his excitement about the event’s return: “We are delighted that Transport Logistic China is finally back on track and making an impressive comeback. It has been a pacemaker for the development of the Eurasian Corridor over the past two decades and today reflects the major shifts in the global economy. These include the nearshoring of industry, digitalization, ongoing globalization, and dealing with climate change.”
Transport Logistic China 2024 promises to be a landmark event, offering unparalleled networking opportunities, industry insights, and a showcase of cutting-edge logistics solutions.
