Talma has upgraded and optimised Avianca Cargo’s domestic terminal at Jose Joaquim de Olmedo International Airport in Guayaquil in Ecuador.
The cargo handling company won the contract to operate Avianca Cargo’s domestic cargo handling services in 2024 and started modernising the warehouse in Guayaquil.
The inauguration of the upgraded warehouse was attended by representatives from Talma and Avianca Cargo.
The warehouse is a 120 metres-squared space leased under concession to the airport operator Terminal Aeroportuaria de Guayaquil.
Delia Guerra, general manager of Talma Ecuador, said: “The remodelling of this strategic space for Avianca represents a milestone in our operation in Ecuador.
“From this warehouse we handle a significant daily volume of cargo, mainly destined for the Galapagos Islands, ensuring efficiency in each process.
“Our commitment is and will continue to be to providing first class airport services to our clients.”
