In 2024, Talma managed more than 1,000 tonnes of production equipment and musical instruments in Peru, supporting major concerts and live performances. Each event required meticulous logistics to transport essential staging elements, including lighting, LED screens, structures, scenery, sound consoles, and musical instruments.

Talma has played a key role in the logistics of concerts for global artists such as Paul McCartney, Luis Miguel, Lenny Kravitz, The Smashing Pumpkins, Aventura, Sam Smith, Karol G, Feid, Morat, and Louis Tomlinson.

The company is now preparing for the highly anticipated 2025 concert by Shakira in Lima, which involves handling over 480 tonnes of cargo, including the import and export of musical instruments and production equipment.

Specialized Handling for High-Value Equipment

Carlos García-León, Cargo Business Unit Manager at Talma Peru, emphasized the importance of expert handling for fragile, high-value equipment.

“Musical instruments and production equipment require highly specialized handling,” García-León said. “At Talma, we have an expert team and optimized processes that guarantee safety in every operation. We are proud to be part of the logistics chain that makes it possible for millions of Peruvians to enjoy these first-class shows.”

Growing Demand for Concert Logistics in 2025

The trend of large-scale shows is expected to continue in 2025, with Talma projecting to handle approximately 1.1 million kilos of cargo, further solidifying its role as a key logistics partner for live events in Peru.

Rock-It Cargo, operating under its Waiver Logistics brand in Peru, has been responsible for overseeing comprehensive event logistics, including coordinating international and national transport.

National Air Cargo, represented by Candy Aviation, along with LATAM Airlines, Avianca Cargo, and Aercaribe, have played crucial roles in airlifting scenery, instruments, and equipment, ensuring timely delivery.

Talma has led the cargo handling operations, managing reception, storage, and transport with strict adherence to industry safety and quality standards.

“With the growth of the concert calendar in the country, we are committed to ensuring seamless logistics for large-scale events,” García-León added.
