Swissport has launched a new air cargo ground handling partnership with Dominican Republic-based SKYhigh Airlines at Miami International Airport.
Announced on January 3 via LinkedIn, Swissport shared that its team successfully began operations with just 24 hours’ notice, handling 37 tons of cargo on the first day. SKYhigh Airlines operates 20 freighter flights weekly, though details on Miami-specific services are pending confirmation.
SKYhigh Airlines operates a fleet of nine aircraft, including Boeing 737-300 and 737-400 freighters, and offers non-stop cargo services to destinations across the Caribbean, Central America, and Miami from Santo Domingo.
This partnership strengthens Swissport’s presence in Miami and supports SKYhigh Airlines’ expanding regional network.
