SriLankan Airlines has appointed Network Airline Services (NAS) as their cargo General Sales and Services Agent (GSSA) in the United Kingdom. SriLankan operates daily wide-body flights from London Heathrow to Colombo, connecting to a network that covers the Middle East, Indian Subcontinent, Asia, and Australia.
John Gilfeather, Sales Director at Network Airline Services, expressed, “The NAS team feels very honored and privileged to be appointed as the Cargo GSA for SriLankan Airlines in the UK. NAS will dedicate a team of experienced and customer-focused staff to retain existing business and identify potential new customers and cargo for the SriLankan Airlines network.”
Established in 1979, SriLankan Cargo has consistently provided global connectivity through its evolving fleet of modern aircraft and extensive network. Operating 22 aircraft to 37 global destinations, SriLankan Cargo is a major air cargo operator in the region. The new, fully equipped cargo terminal at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake serves as the sole handling agent for all airlines operating in Sri Lanka, moving nearly 200,000 metric tonnes of cargo annually.
Network Airline Services (NAS), the General Sales and Services division of the Network Aviation Group established in 1985, operates with 43 offices and 200 staff worldwide, providing comprehensive cargo GSSA services to airlines.
