MBS Logistics AG, the Swiss arm of the Cologne-based MBS Logistics Group, has acquired Gerhard Wegmüller GmbH, a Zurich-based specialist in customised logistics solutions. The acquisition is retroactively effective from January 1, 2025.
This strategic move expands MBS Logistics AG’s service capabilities, particularly in time-critical and specialised logistics for sectors such as aviation, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology. Gerhard Wegmüller GmbH is renowned for 24/7 emergency logistics and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support.
The integration brings the Wegmüller team into MBS’s international network, enhancing the Anytime brand’s global reach in critical logistics services. The company will continue operating under its existing name, with Maria Wegmüller remaining as Managing Director, working closely with Fabian Heil, Managing Director of MBS Logistics AG Switzerland.
