MASkargo Resumes Partnership with WFS for Paris Cargo Handling

Share

Malaysia Airlines’ cargo division, MASkargo, has renewed its cargo handling partnership with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), a SATS company, at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. This collaboration coincides with Malaysia Airlines’ new daily Airbus A350-900 passenger and cargo services connecting Paris and Kuala Lumpur, marking the airline’s return to the French capital after withdrawing from the route in January 2016.

With this reinstated partnership, WFS will not only manage cargo handling at Paris CDG but also extend its support to Malaysia Airlines at provincial airports across France, including Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, and Strasbourg. The expansion follows the arrival of additional wide-bodied aircraft to Malaysia Airlines’ fleet, increasing its global route network to 68 destinations.

Laurent Bernard, Managing Director of France at WFS, expressed enthusiasm about the renewed collaboration, stating, “It is very pleasing to see Malaysia Airlines’ aircraft back at Paris CDG, and we are delighted to be resuming our partnership. We look forward to supporting the growth of its cargo business between France and Kuala Lumpur, and the onward connections Malaysia Airlines offers across Asia.”
