Emirates launches Express Courier Service for faster global deliveries

Share

Emirates has unveiled Emirates Courier Express, a new end-to-end delivery service designed to revolutionise express shipping by offering faster, more reliable, and flexible global delivery options.

Backed by nearly four decades of logistics expertise, Emirates has worked closely with customers to refine the service before its official launch.

Over the past year, Emirates Courier Express has successfully transported thousands of packages across key markets, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa, and the UK, achieving an average delivery time of under 48 hours.

Unlike traditional hub-and-spoke logistics models, which require multiple stops, Emirates Courier Express takes a direct approach, mirroring passenger travel, by leveraging the airline’s extensive network to move packages from origin to destination without unnecessary delays.

This model reduces transit times, minimises handling, and provides businesses with a competitive edge.

Badr Abbas, divisional senior vice president of Emirates SkyCargo, described the new service as “an evolution in how we move goods across the globe, at speed and scale.

“This innovative solution sets a new benchmark for express deliveries and reflects our commitment to reliability and excellence.”

At launch, Emirates Courier Express will be available in seven markets, with plans to expand to all destinations served by the airline.

With access to Emirates’ fleet of over 250 wide-body passenger and freighter aircraft, the service ensures global reach and seamless door-to-door delivery.

A fully digital platform supports the service, offering real-time tracking, automated customs clearance, and integration with customer software for a streamlined experience.

The service also includes specialised solutions for high-value and sensitive shipments, such as fashion, mobile devices, and medical equipment.
