ECS Group’s subsidiary, Aero Cargo Belgium, has entered a strategic partnership with Thai Airways to strengthen cargo operations between Europe and Asia. Effective February 1st, the agreement focuses on the Brussels (BRU) to Bangkok (BKK) route, with seamless connections to key destinations such as Australia, Korea, India, Japan, Manila, and Singapore.
Thai Airways operates daily Boeing 787-800 flights, each with a 15-ton payload capacity. The airline will leverage ECS Group’s in-house technology and the CargoTech suite of digital tools to enhance efficiency. The collaboration will prioritize high-value cargo, particularly pharmaceuticals, ensuring reliable and specialized transport solutions.
Jean Ceccaldi, CEO of ECS Group, emphasized the partnership’s role in driving operational excellence and global connectivity. Bert Moortgat, Managing Director of Aero Cargo Belgium, highlighted the expanded opportunities for customers to access crucial markets, especially in Asia-Pacific.
This alliance reinforces global trade routes by combining Thai Airways’ extensive network with Aero Cargo Belgium’s expertise, setting a new standard in cargo transport efficiency.
