Chapman Freeborn has teamed up with Ajex Logistics Services to enhance cargo operations and expand its presence in Saudi Arabia.
The partnership will focus on airport ground and cargo handling services, as well as managing special cargo projects. This collaboration is part of Chapman Freeborn’s strategy to align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to boost the country’s airfreight capacity to 4.5 million tonnes annually by 2030 through the development of new airport infrastructure.
The charter firm has been investing heavily in the region, including appointing Linas Dovydenas as president of India, the Middle East, and Africa in November.
“By combining our regional strengths with Chapman Freeborn’s extensive global network, we are committed to delivering enhanced aviation and cargo solutions that support the Kingdom’s ambitious growth objectives,” said Mohammed Albayati, chief executive of Ajex Logistics Services.
Gerhard Coetzee, vice president of cargo at Chapman Freeborn, added:
