Avianca has announced the appointment of Otto Gergye as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen its commercial strategy.
With over 20 years of experience in aviation and tourism, Gergye has led commercial operations in multiple airlines, specializing in strategic planning, business development, sales, and revenue optimization. His career includes leadership roles at Thai Airways, Qantas, Fiji Airways, Air Berlin, British Airways, Amadeus, and KLM, among others.
